Description
Stonecroft is a detached house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of random coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with stone end stacks. The building has a single front range that is two storeys tall with an attic, along with a large rear cross wing and a single-storey extension added in the 20th century to the right.
The front facade includes two windows with three-light stone mullions, each featuring a square hoodmould and lattice lights, some of which contain old glass. Between these windows is a stone sundial. On the ground floor, there are two four-light stone mullions with square hoodmoulds, and the central entrance door consists of six flush panels topped with a flat stone hood supported by brackets. Additionally, there are two small gabled dormers, each with two-light lattice windows.
