Description

Hatchet Gate Lodge is a lodge for the Beaulieu Manor Estate, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features an old plain tile roof. The building is 1½ stories high and has two bays, with an outshot on one side. The road-facing end has a round-headed opening with imposts leading to a porch, located in the outshot on the left-hand side. There are 2-light segmental head casements on both floors. The roof is half-hipped, and there is a ridge stack situated between the bays.
