Description

Manor Lodge is a lodge to The Manor, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of squared and coursed blue lias stone, with a plinth and brick voussoirs around the window openings. The building features a hipped slate roof and a brick stack at the north end. The plan likely consists of two cells with an outshut at the rear. The lodge is two storeys high, with two pointed arch leaded casements on the south front, one on each floor. The west front has a ground floor oriel window, and the entrance is located on the east front. The lodge is situated on the site of the old village pound.
