Description
Ravenswood is a late 18th-century house located at the end of a row on Downton High Street. It is constructed of painted English bond brick and features a tiled roof with a brick stack on the right side. The building has an L-plan layout and is two stories high with three windows. To the left of the center, there is a six-panelled door topped with a pediment supported by Tuscan columns. On either side of the door are plate-glass sash windows set in moulded architraves. The first floor has three additional plate-glass sash windows, also in moulded architraves. The eaves cornice is toothed brick. The right side of the building has no windows. At the rear, there is a late 19th-century extension on the left with two-light casements, and on the right, there is another extension with sash windows on both the ground and first floors. The interior has not been inspected.
