Description
A pair of shops dating from the early 19th century, located on Downton High Street. The buildings are constructed of plastered brick, with a Welsh slate hipped roof and brick stacks. They are two storeys high and feature four windows in total. The left-hand shop (No. 3) has a 19th-century double shop front with double glazed doors. The right-hand shop (No. 5) has a 19th-century double shop front, including bay windows. A 20th-century entrance door is present, featuring a keystone above a lintel flanked by Tuscan columns. To the right of the shop front is an elliptical-arched cart entry with a keystone and impost. Deep eaves are visible beneath the hipped roof. A two-storey brick wing with a tiled roof extends from the rear of No. 3. The interior of the properties has not been inspected.
