Description
Lutwyche House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a later extension. It is constructed of brick, painted on the front and right side, while the rear is finished with painted roughcast render. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features brick dentil course eaves, along with partly projecting gable-end stacks and an eaves stack on the rear extension. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a range parallel to the street and a rear extension wing.
The exterior consists of two storeys and an attic. The street-facing side has a two-storey, three-window arrangement of 6/6 sash windows, each with splayed stone lintels and raised keystones. There are three gabled dormers, each with 2-light casements, and a central tiled gabled porch that covers a partly glazed four-panelled door set in a beaded frame with top-lights. Each gable end features a single attic casement and a central projecting stack, with 20th-century glazed doors on the left gable.
At the rear, there is a later projecting two-storey extension wing on the left, which has 20th-century windows. To the right, the rear is covered by a 20th-century lean-to extension. The interior has not been inspected.
