Description

Manor Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered over time. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate roof, with a coped west gable and a west end stack. The building is 2 and a half storeys tall and has an L-shaped plan. The main range includes 3-light and single light stone mullion windows above, and 2-light windows below, all of which are from the 19th century. There is also a 20th-century door and a single light window with imitation stone surrounds.

To the right, there is a large projecting gabled wing with a south coped gable and a prominent east coped chimney gable that has an ashlar stack. The south front features mullion windows with hoodmoulds, including an attic 3-light window that is hollow-moulded in the late 17th-century style, while the other windows are cyma-moulded in the 18th-century style, with three 3-light windows on the first floor and two 2-light windows on the ground floor.

The northeast angle of the main range has been rebuilt in ashlar and includes 18th-century mullion windows, one located to the north under a half-hipped roof and another at the east end on the first floor. At the west end of the building, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension made of stone and stone slate. Additionally, there is a 19th-century rear wing, likely used as a dairy and cheese room, which features brick dressings and a roof covered with Bridgwater tiles and stone slates, along with a ridge stack.
