Description
Glebe Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse, likely built on an earlier core. It is constructed of roughcast rubble stone with a stone slate roof and a ridge stack. The main range features flush quoins, a dripcourse, and cyma-moulded recessed mullion windows with leaded lights. To the left, there are four-light windows on both floors; to the first floor on the right is a three-light window above a three-by-one-by-two-pane canted timber bay window with a stone slate roof. A dripcourse also runs along the west end wall. A lower addition, built of ironstone rubble, is located on the east side, with a door to the left and a triple casement window on each floor to the centre. This addition has leaded lights and an east end stack. A single-story addition extends beyond, featuring a cambered brick head over a triple casement window and an end stack. The west gable of the main house shows some exposed timber framing. The rear of the main range has two dormers, two first-floor two-light windows on the right side, a dripcourse, and one ground-floor two-light window. A rear wing is attached to the east addition.
