Description
Nos 33 and 34 are a pair of estate houses from the Bowood estate, built in 1872. They are constructed from squared rubble stone and feature a Bridgwater tile roof with a ridge stack. The houses are 1 and a half storeys tall and have small paned casements.
On the left side, there is a slightly projected gable with a date plaque. The first floor has a pair of casements with a hoodmould, while the ground floor features a canted bay with a banded tile roof. The entrance to No 33 is located to the left, also with a hoodmould. To the right of the gable, No 34 has a triple casement with a hoodmould below, an eaves-breaking pair of casements in the dormer gable above, and a door to the right that is sheltered by a decorative gabled timber hood on brackets.
There is a matching 20th-century extension to the right, which has a pair of casements on each floor and a dormer gable. The houses are included for their group value.
