Description

Manor Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse, restored in the 19th century. It is constructed of random coursed rubble stone with a stone slate roof and stone end stacks to the main range, and a rendered flue to an external stack on the right-hand wing. The main range is two storeys and an attic, with five windows; these windows feature 2-light stone mullions in flush stone frames with iron casements. A central gable is topped by a smaller 2-light stone mullion and a fire insurance plaque. Two small hipped dormers each have 2-light wooden casements. The ground floor has four 2-light stone mullions, and a central projecting gabled stone porch of the 19th century with a half-glazed 19th-century door within a chamfered stone surround. A wing to the right has two small gables, each with a 2-light stone mullion in a flush stone frame, with similar windows on the ground floor. The left-hand return of the main block features a blocked single light stone-framed window slightly above ground floor level, which may have lit a stair. The interior is not accessible.
