Description
Dovecote House is a detached farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of random coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with stone end stacks. The building consists of a single main range with a long rear catslide, and there is a 20th-century additional range to the right that is not of special interest. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and has three windows, which are 2 or 3-light casements with timber lintels. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light windows and a central projecting 20th-century porch. The house also has two small gabled dormers, each with twin wooden casements. A fire insurance plaque is located on the left-hand return of the building.
