Description

Kellaways Mill House is a house dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped roof covered in stone slates, and a stack at the east end. The house is two storeys high with an attic, arranged in an L-shape. The formal west front has three windows, featuring cambered-head 16-pane sash windows. A central door is set within an ashlar surround with an open pediment supported by brackets. The lower part of the facade has a raised brick plinth and two raised bands, while the roofline features three hipped eaves dormers. The south side also has three windows. Originally the residence of the mill owners of Kellaways Mill, it served as the mill-owners house.
