MARLBOROUGH COLLEGE 1. 5407 Memorial Hall SU 1868 5/274 II 2. 1921 (designed). Unveiled 1925. Architect W G Newton. Brick. Ashlar dressings. Hipped pantile roof. 2 storeys, articulated by giant order. Peristyle of 8 Ionic columns carrying full entablature, and flanked by 2 closed end bays with flanking pilasters, doors with fanlights, architraves, and cornices on consoles. Semi-circular back.
