5/24 Pond Tail Lodge and gates

II

Bowood estate lodge, early C19, squared rubble stone with half- hipped stone slate roof carried down over open verandah on 4 timber posts. Single storey and attic. Flush quoins. Rebuilt rear wall stack with triple diagonal shafts. Within verandah 6-panel door flanked by C20 metal windows, all in flush stone surrounds. Metal casements to each floor in end walls. Rear roof is carried down over brick lean-to. Attached ashlar gatepiers with iron gates and pedestrian gate.
