Description

The barn at Whetham Farm dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone, featuring a red brick wall on the west side and a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has coped gables and a projecting gabled cart-entry on the east side. The west entry is topped with a plain timber lintel. Inside, the barn has a five-bay roof supported by heavy tie-beam-and-collar trusses with angle posts.
