Description

This is an 18th-century road bridge located on the estate drive east of Pond Tail Lodge in Calne Without Bowood. It is constructed from ironstone rubble and features an ashlar cornice and balustrade, which are splayed out at each end. The bridge has a single arch at water level on the north side, while the corresponding south side is raised as a lunette outflow to the lake at a lower level.
