Description
Studley Lodge is a lodge to Bowood House, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble stone with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof, coped gables, and end stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range on the south side consisting of 6-pane sashes set in flush stone surrounds. The central door is framed by a flush chamfered surround and is sheltered by a 20th-century timber porch. The lodge has flush quoins and a raised eaves band, with attic windows in the end walls. On the west end, there is one ground floor 6-pane sash window. The rear wall features an ashlar plinth and originally had a two-window range of blank windows, but one ground floor 6-pane window has been inserted, along with a matching 6-pane window added to the centre of the ground floor.
