Description
This is a detached cottage dating to around 1700. It is constructed primarily of English garden wall bond brick, with some timber framing to the rear, and has a hipped thatched roof with a brick stack. The cottage is two storeys high with a two-window front. A planked door is centrally located within a 20th-century porch, flanked by two-light casement windows. There are two additional two-light casement windows on the first floor. A single-storey addition is present to the left return, and a lean-to extension is attached to the right return. A rear lean-to extension exhibits exposed light square-panelled timber framing above. The interior was inaccessible when surveyed in January 1987.
