Description

Deep Moor is a detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is built of English garden wall bond brick and features a thatched roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The entrance is located at the rear of the building. The cottage is single-storey with an attic and has two windows. There is a planked door to the right of the center, with three-light and two-light casements to the left, and one three-light casement to the right. The roof includes two eyebrow dormers, each with two-light leaded casements. There are 19th and 20th-century lean-to extensions at the rear. The left side of the cottage has a planked door within a porch. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in August 1986.
