Description
This cottage, located at the end of a row, dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. The ground floor is constructed of random rubble stone, while the first floor is rendered and features a timber-framed gable. It has a thatched roof with a brick chimney stack on the right side. The building is two stories tall and has two windows. There is a planked door to the left of center, with a single-light casement window to the left and a three-light casement window to the right. The first floor, which was likely originally timber-framed, has two two-light casement windows. Attached to the right side is a 19th-century brick lean-to extension, which has a light timber frame and brick nogging in the attic gable. The interior and rear of the cottage were not accessible during the survey in August 1986.
