Description

No. 28 is a cottage in a row, dating from the late 17th century and 18th century. It is constructed of dressed stone and rubble stone, topped with a thatched roof featuring gable end brick stacks. The cottage is two stories tall and has two windows. There is a planked door with a thatched canopy located to the right of center. To the right of the door is a 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement, and to the left is a 3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement. The eaves are raised in rubble stone, and there are two 3-light leaded casements. The rear and interior were not accessible during the survey in August 1986.
