Description

No. 9 Barnsdale is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is built from coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a thatched roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The gables are coped with stone. The cottage has two storeys and displays two centre-opening three-light casement windows. On the ground floor, from left to right, there are two two-light windows, a six-panelled door with glazed top panels, a three-light window, and a small one-light window. The windows and door have dressed stone lintels and sills. The gable at the right end is rendered.
