Description

This is a late 17th and 18th century cottage located in Great Easton. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and rubble stone, with quoins, and has a Welsh slate roof. The roof features a 20th-century stone ridge stack, a brick facing gable stack, and a truncated rear gable stack. Stone coped gables top the structure. The facing gable, faced with squared stone and rendered, has a two-storey, five-light stone mullion bay window with hood moulds and mostly leaded lights. The left side of the cottage is slightly higher than the right. The ground floor on the left has, from left to right, a one-light window with a top light, a partially glazed door, a one-light window, and a plank door with a small glazed panel. The right side of the ground floor contains a one-light window and a three-light casement window. The upper floor has three centre-opening three-light casement windows.
