Description

Westbrook House is a cottage dating from the late 17th and 18th centuries, with a 20th-century extension. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with a corrugated tile roof, featuring a moulded stone ridge and end stacks. Stone coped gables are also present. The house comprises a gabled cross wing on the left and a main wing. The front of the cross wing has a two-light casement window on both floors, set within a stone frame and with a hood mould. To the right of the cross wing is a two-light, 20th-century stone mullion window, with a matching Lincolnshire dormer window above. On the inner return angle of the wing is a small projecting outshut with a single-light window. A door and a one-storey, 20th-century wing form the rear of the property. Facing the left side are three two-light Lincolnshire dormer windows in stone frames, the one on the right being 20th century, and incorporating a mullion. The ground floor features a two-light window in a moulded stone frame, a door in a moulded stone frame, a 20th-century square bay window, and another two-light window.
