Description

Barnsdale Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone, with the ends rendered, and features a thatched roof with brick stacks at each end. The right third of the front is slightly set back. The cottage has 1½ storeys and includes two 2-light casement windows, with the left window being large and low. There is a central door with wooden lintels above. Three eyebrow dormers, one with 1 light and two with 2 lights, are positioned above. To the left, there is a small single-storey lean-to with a corrugated roof. The right end features a Gothick 2-light casement window on both floors. There is also an extension at the rear.
