Description

No. 8 Newton St Loe is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is built of rubble with freestone dressings and features a 20th-century tiled roof with coped raised verges and ashlar stacks. The cottage is single storey with attics and has three steep gables. There are three 3-light casement windows, each with ovolo moulded surrounds and similar mullions, set under relieving arches. To the right, there is a 20th-century door in a bolection moulded surround, also under a relieving arch. A plank door is located in the porch to the left.
