Detached cottage. Circa 1600. Close studded timber-framing with painted brick nogging, thatched roof with gable end brick stacks. Single-storey and attic, 2-window. Planked door in gabled porch to left of centre, 2-light casement either side, blocked doorway to right - former gable end baffle entry. Two large eyebrow dormers to attic with two 2-light casements. Single-storey C19 extension attached to right with 2-light casement and brick stack. C20 rear addition. Added brick stack to left return. Interior has deep chamfered beams with scrolled stops, timber- framed fireplace with depressed arched lintel. Two bay roof with collar and tie-beam truss and coupled rafters, windbracing.
