Description

No. 34 High Street is a cottage from the 18th century. It has a timber frame that is covered in painted brick, with a weatherboarded gable. The roof is thatched with long straw. There is a rebuilt local brick ridge stack and an end stack on the south gable. The cottage is one storey with an attic, and there is a single storey rear wing that does not have brick casing. On the east facade, there is one casement dormer window and three ground floor windows of various sizes. The main entrance is located at the rear. Inside, you can find exposed wall and floor frames, as well as a large inglenook hearth.
