Description

Worts Farm Granary is an early 19th-century granary located on High Street in Landbeach. It is constructed of gault brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan with a blank end wall facing the road. On the north side, there are two casement windows on both floors, along with a loft door to the right. The south side also has two ground-floor casements, and there is a door at the rear.

Inside, the ground floor is open, except for some recent boxing around the original step ladder. The first floor contains intact framed and boarded grain bins, and the roof is supported by a king post construction. This granary is a good example of a large, well-preserved structure from its period and is part of a group of historic buildings in the area.
