Description

The stable and carriage house at Longleaze Farm is a mid-19th century stable block constructed from rubble stone and topped with a double Roman tiled roof. The northeast side facing the yard features a central segmental-headed planked door, flanked by two pivot-hung six-pane windows on the right and one on the left, all of which have segmental openings with keystones. Above, there is a gabled loft with a segmental-headed planked door at the center. To the left, there is a single-storey tack and feed room that includes segmental-headed planked doors and a six-pane window, along with an ashlar stack. The rear side facing the road is mostly windowless, except for a planked loading bay to the loft on the left.
