Description
This structure consists of a gate, gate piers, and approximately 6 metres of wall on either side, located at the front of The Moot. It dates from the 18th century. The gate is made of wrought iron and cast iron, featuring an ornamental wrought-iron latch, an overthrow, and side panels. The square piers are constructed in stretcher bond brick and topped with moulded limestone capping and ball finials. The attached walls are built in Flemish bond brick with a brick coping.
