Description
Nos 140 and 141 on Bath Road are two semi-detached cottages built in the early 18th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone and feature a Welsh slate roof with a coped verge on the left side, along with stone stacks that have moulded cappings. The cottages are two stories high and have three windows across the front.
No 140 includes a 19th-century lean-to porch on the left side with a 20th-century door. It has two three-light ovolo-mullioned casements on both the ground and first floors, and a rubble stone buttress on the right. No 141 has a front with a 20th-century door on the left and a two-light ovolo-mullioned casement with a hoodmould on the right. The first floor features a single two-light cyma-mullioned casement. There is a lean-to extension on the right side, which includes a 20th-century addition that is not of special interest.
