Description
No. 25 Church Walk is a detached cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of squared rubblestone and features a stone slate roof with coped verges. An ashlar stack with a moulded cap is located on the right side of the building. The entrance is situated on the facade that does not face the street. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has three windows. To the left of the centre door, which has a chamfered case, there is a 2-light cyma mullioned window and a 3-light cyma mullioned window. To the left of the door is another 3-light cyma mullioned window. The attic features three hipped gables, each with a central 3-light and 2-light cyma mullioned window on the sides. The right return of the building has a chamfered door case. At the rear of the street facade, there is one 2-light beaded mullioned window. The building was undergoing renovation at the time of the survey in July 1984.
