Description

No 36 is an attached cottage dating from the late 18th century. It has a rendered exterior and a stone slate roof with a coped verge on the left side. The building is two storeys high and features two windows. On the ground floor, there is a six-fielded panelled door to the left, which has a beaded case and a flat stone hood supported by brackets. To the right of the door are two 12-pane sash windows, also in beaded cases. The first floor contains a pair of 12-pane sash windows in a beaded case with a central mullion, along with a small casement window in a beaded case to the left. There is one hipped dormer in the roof. The left side of the building is constructed of rubblestone and has two-light cyma-mullioned windows on the first and attic floors. The interior has not been inspected.
