Description

The Francome monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 37 metres southeast of the southeast corner of the south aisle of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a moulded table and base, along with recessed corner balusters. It has inscribed panels with reliefs at the ends, commemorating Richard Francome, who died in 1777, and his family.
