Description

This is a stone tomb chest located by the north east gate of the churchyard of St Mary's Church in Axminster. It dates from 1822 and is dedicated to Francis. The tomb chest features balusters recessed into the corners and oval panelled sides that contain inscriptions. It is notable for being the only gravestone in the churchyard.
