Description
This small granary, dating from around 1700, is located to the north of Witherington Farmhouse. It features weatherboarding on a timber frame, supported by staddlestones, and has a half-hipped tiled roof. The structure consists of two bays and includes one planked door on the south side. Inside, there are planked corn bins. The roof is supported by an interrupted tie-beam truss, with vertical struts connecting the lower cross rail to the collar, and a central post extending from the ground floor to the cross rail, which supports the upper floor.
