Description
This is a barn located to the northwest of Witherington Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It features weatherboarding on a timber frame, set on a low brick plinth built in English bond. The barn has a half-hipped tiled roof and consists of six bays. There are double planked doors positioned to the left of the center, with two 9-pane fixed windows with louvred tops on either side. Inside, the barn has V-struts on the walls, and the roof trusses include tie-beams that are braced to jowled main posts, along with raking struts to the collar and two tiers of butt purlins.
