Description
Eysey Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed of coursed limestone with freestone dressings and features a stone tile roof with stone coping and finials on the gables. The building has stone axial stacks with diagonally-set shafts.
The farmhouse is L-shaped in plan, with the main rooms and a central entrance/stairhall located in the double-depth front range, while service rooms are situated in the rear wing. There is also an outbuilding range at the north end.
The exterior consists of two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical three-bay south front. This front features tall 12-pane sash windows, a central doorway with a glazed and panelled door, a semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars, and a gabled stone porch with a Tudor arch and a panel above. The front is adorned with three small gables that have finials and ventilation slits. The east and west sides of the building include twin gables and two-storey canted bay windows with sash and casement windows that have small panes. The rear wing also contains casements with small panes, an attic gable, and a loggia on the west side, which wraps around a small courtyard leading to the outbuilding range.
The interior appears to be intact, featuring a staircase with stick balusters and a mahogany handrail that is wreathed over the curtail.
