Description

Brook House is a house constructed of coursed limestone rubble with stone slate roofs, dating from the 18th century. It has two storeys and attics, consisting of two blocks arranged at right angles. The right block features four bays and has a pair of six-panel doors beneath a pentice porch on the left side. There is a string course running along the building. The windows are four-pane sashes with moulded wood boxes, and the eaves project. The centre bays have two gabled dormers, and there is an external stone stack to the right. The left block has a gable facing the street, with first and second floor strings and four-pane sash windows, similar to those in the attic.
