Description

Cobblers Cottage is a cottage located on the east side of Marlborough Road in Sunton, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features a thatched roof. The building is single storey and attic, raised to two storeys, and consists of three bays, with a slated brick lean-to against the south gable. The entrance is situated in the lean-to and is covered by a tiled canopy. The cottage has 20th-century paned casement windows, a brick stack, and a roof that is half hipped to the left. The interior has a two-room plan, with the south room being heated.
