Description
Pats and Glen Cottages is a house that has been converted into two cottages, dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame with whitewashed wattle and daub and brick infilling, topped with a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of four bays, with a rear wing on the northern bay. The main living room is located in the third bay. The framing consists of three and four panels high, supported by heavy curved corner braces. There is a boarded door in the second bay, which replaces a former door that was located on the southern bay. The property has two and three-light leaded windows, as well as two flush leaded dormers at the rear and four at the front. The southeast corner has been rebuilt, and the northern bay is likely a later addition, featuring a two-bay rear wing that is single storey. The roof is hipped, and a stack has been added to the southern bay.
