Description
Forge Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with extensions added in the early 19th century on the west side and early 20th century on the east side. The building is constructed of flint and brick and features a thatched roof. It has one storey and an attic, with three windows. The roof is half-hipped, and the eaves are raised above the upper windows. The central section of the wall displays thin horizontal flint bands, brick quoins, bands, a cambered arch, and a plinth. The west side is primarily flint with brick dressings, while the east side is made of brick. The windows are casements, and there is a four-panelled door located within a timber-framed open porch.
