Description

Bramble Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a re-cladding from the 18th century and 20th-century rear extensions. It features flint and thatch construction, is one storey and has an attic, and has two windows. The roof is half-hipped, with eaves raised above the upper windows. The walls are made of flint, with brick quoins and a plinth. The north-west gable displays exposed framing in the upper part, which has rendered infill, while the lower part is constructed of flint with brick quoins and bands. The cottage has casement windows and a boarded door set within a trellis porch. An oval panel on the building is dated 1603.
