Description

The Old School Room, now serving as a church hall, was built in 1875 and extended in 1983. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings, topped with a slate roof featuring scalloped bands. A gable above the front window is ornamented with cusped bargeboards. The walls combine knapped flint with yellow brick quoins, a plinth, and Tudor arches. Windows are casements with decorative window heads. A large brick stack at the rear has coupled diagonal flues. The south-east porch features two small slit openings with triangular heads formed in yellow brickwork, on either side. The 1983 extension, a two-story addition, continues the Tudor style, with a prominent front gable containing a single window above three.
