Description
Shepherds Croft is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with late 18th century cladding. It is constructed from flint and thatch, featuring one storey and an attic, with two windows. The roof is half-hipped at the south end, gabled at the north, and has a catslide at the rear, along with eyebrow dormers. The eaves extend to create an open porch supported by rustic poles. The flint walls are complemented by painted brick quoins, cambered arches, and a plinth. The north gable displays an exposed timber-frame with rendered infill. The windows are casements, and the entrance features a five-panelled door, three of which are top-glazed.
