Description

Hatherden Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage with a 19th-century extension. It is constructed of flint with a thatched roof. The cottage is single-storey with an attic, featuring three dormers and an irregular arrangement of ground-floor windows. The roof is half-hipped at the west end and hipped at the east end, with eaves raised above the dormers. The walls are flint with brick dressings, with the east side rendered and all surfaces now painted. The windows are casements. A boarded door is set within a plain frame, sheltered by a gabled canopy.
