Description
Little Goddards is a house that originally dates back to around 1600, featuring a 3-bay timber frame with some remaining fragments. The house underwent recladding and extension around 1800, with minor additions made to the rear since then. The walls are constructed of flint and brick, topped with a hipped roof covered in 20th-century tiles. The south-facing front is regular, consisting of 2 storeys and 3 windows. It showcases horizontal flint panels, brick quoins, bands, and cambered arches, with sash windows set in exposed frames. The plain doorway has a 3-panelled door, which includes glazed panels at the top, and is now located within a glazed conservatory. The west elevation features 2 similar windows and a 6-panelled door, with 2 top-glazed panels, set within a trellis porch. An incised brick inscription reads "C G 1807."
