Description

Sarson Cottages is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with an exterior that was restored around 1800. The building is constructed of flint and brick, topped with a thatched roof. The front, facing south, features a one-storey and attic design with three windows. The roof has a half-hipped shape at the east end and is hipped at the west end, with two dormers that have gables adorned with ornamental bargeboards. The walls are primarily made of flint, complemented by brick quoins and bands, while the west side is rendered. The windows are casements. There is a porch with boarded sides, an oval-arched opening, a slate roof, and a boarded door. At the rear, some of the original timber frame is exposed.
