Description
The Swain monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Andrew, positioned 16 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel. It dates from 1800 and features a moulded table and base, with recessed corner balusters and a reeded fascia. The sides of the tomb are adorned with an oval panel flanked by draped urns. This monument commemorates the Reverend John Swain, who died in 1800.
